July Arrivals

We sent home 15 missionaries in July and we only received 3 from the Provo MTC, but they are the best we could have hoped for!

Missionary Life

We have a lot of great members in the Portugal Porto Mission and our missionaries really enjoy working with them!

Baptisms

At the end of July we saw baptisms of family members including Daniel, Sandra, and Mario.  It's always a good feeling to help someone find the blessings of the gospel of Jesus Christ!

River Baptism

In the city of Castelo Branco, they have no font in the chapel, so the missionaries have the opportunity to plan and conduct baptisms in the river.  It's always a wonderful event, especially when the weather is hot.

Missionary Activities

For the American Elders and Irmas, there were unique Fourth of July celebrations in all of the districts.

July Farol Visit

This farol trip was unusual because we only had Irmas visit with President and Sister Walton and the assistants.

Norte, Porto, Coimbra e Madeira Conferencias das Zonas

Zone conferences are always the highlight of the transfer cycle and these past ones were no exception.
